We had a temporary new addition to the ‘Altitude Everest Expedition 2007’ team today - a young puppy we've taken to naming ‘Chomolungma’ or 'Chommy' for short (in honour of the Tibetan name for the highest mountain in the world).
This latecomer hails from the foothills of Everest and has won over the hearts and souls of the Base Camp crew. Although by far the youngest member of the team - made evident by his juvenile behaviour (racing around, barking endlessly, rolling over and insisting on tummy rubs) - he assured us he is serious about joining the team and even occasionally consented to wearing the expedition hat.
