I miss 5 Mb/s internet, cable TV, a soft bed and a hot shower. Everyone misses the thick air and warmth. But I think most of all we miss those that we love, our wives, our girlfriends, our children, our pets.
Never have we felt so close to those back home, even though they are thousands of miles away. We toil every day, fight the mountain, the altitude, the cold thin air, the machines, and attempt to do the impossible. Every day we think of the moment that we will return home, and hold those we love in our arms again, their embrace being the most precious thing we have ever known.
