The food here is quite good and is freshly prepared every day by Nepali and Tibetan cooks in a designated cook tent, before being served to the team members in our mess tent.
Breakfast - Served at 8:00 am - Typical menu: Toast, eggs ( boiled, fried, or omelettes), bacon, porridge, rice pudding, tea and coffee.
Lunch - Served at 12:30 - Typical menu: Chapatti bread, tuna or sardines, cooked potatoes, coleslaw or potato salad, various dumplings, fresh or canned fruit, coffee, tea, and soda.
Dinner - Served 6:30 pm - Typical menu: Cooked spicy yak or chicken, potatoes, baked, boiled or fried; chapatti bread, vegetable or other salad, fruit or cake for dessert, coffee and tea.
